Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I specialize in working with children (8 and up), teens, and adults. I feel life is meant to include fun, exploration, and positive self-development, but unaddressed trauma can get in the way, leading instead to anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, and more. I specialize in helping individuals who need support in dealing with complex trauma, also known as C-PTSD, and related struggles. I am passionate about supporting others along their journeys to healing. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations with a focus on life struggles, teen drama/school issues, complex PTSD and co-occurring diagnoses, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, coping with addictions, family conflicts, trauma, and abuse. My passion for helping comes from my own challenging background dealing with social services and related systems/experiences growing up. I want to make sure that teens and individuals get the help they really need. Everyone is different, and I adapt my treatments based on your needs and interests, which might include CBT, DBT, mindfulness, art, nature based, or spiritual practices. As needed, I can also help with communication between families, schools, and other environments that may affect healing. Through services one can expect to experience decreased symptoms, more confidence, and a stronger sense of self. I believe that everyone has the right and ability to live a full life given the proper support and tools and I hope to be that support for you! I can’t go through the journey for you, but I can guide you and provide support through self-discovery along the way! Contact me to schedule a first appointment for yourself, your teen, or your child!
